Dalam penelitian tersebut, para ilmuwan menilai bahwa dengan menyemprotkan debu berlian ke atmosfer dapat memantulkan sinar matahari dan panas kembali ke luar angkasa. Sehingga membantu mengurangi efek pemanasan global.<\/h5>\n<h5>Penelitian ini membandingkan efektivitas tujuh zat berbeda dari aerosol lainnya. Bahan tersebut meliputi sulfur dioksida yang umumnya telah dapat berfungsi untuk mengurangi panas matahari.<\/h5>\n<h5>Hasilnya, debu berlian terbukti efektif dalam proses injeksi ke atmosfer dan lebih unggul dalam memantulkan sinar matahari daripada zat lainnya.
