Sumber energi baru terbarukan (EBT) ini menjadi yang terbesar kedua setelah energi surya di Indonesia. Pemerintah Indonesia saat ini sedang berupaya memanfaatkan potensi besar ini. Mereka berencana akan menambah kapasitas pembangkit listrik tenaga bayu (PLTB) hingga mencapai lima gigawatt (GW) pada tahun 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Potensi energi angin tersebar di berbagai wilayah Indonesia, terutama di daerah yang memiliki karakteristik angin yang kuat dan stabil. Untuk mencapai target lima GW tersebut, pemerintah dan berbagai pihak terkait terus melakukan kajian serta pembangunan PLTB di sejumlah lokasi strategis.<\/p>\n<p>Namun, tahukah Anda? Saat ini Indonesia sudah memiliki dua pembangkit listrik tenaga angin yang beroperasi, yakni Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu (PLTB) Sidrap yang terletak di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap) dan PLTB Tolo di Kabupaten Jeneponto. Kedua pembangkit ini merupakan inovasi dalam memanfaatkan energi angin sebagai sumber pembangkit listrik di Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Pembangunan PLTB di Indonesia menunjukkan komitmen negara ini dalam mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap energi fosil dan beralih ke energi terbarukan.
